About the position

CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent Deck Operator to join our Floating Offshore Transfer Barge (FOTB) – Spencer Gulf. This operation is based in Whyalla, South Australia, and will be a FIFO role. 

CSL Australia will organise, schedule, and pay for your travel costs, including flights and when required accommodation from any destination in Australia. 

The role of a Deck Operator is to provide support during loading/discharging and other related cargo operations. In addition, the Deck Operators will be responsible for:

• Cargo Operations and deck work;
• Line handling;
• General housekeeping and maintenance work;
• Adopting safe working practices;
• Undertaking any other tasks assigned by the FOTB Operations Manager, and any other maintenance tasks as assigned by the FOTB Manager.
