About the placement

This internship is with Endeavour Energy and is facilitated by the CSIRO’s Generation STEM Links program.

As an intern with Endeavour Energy, you’ll experience an invaluable opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience during your summer break from university. You'll have the chance to apply the theories and concepts you've learned in your coursework to real-world situations by participating in short-term engineering projects. These projects span various areas, including transmission and distribution engineering, renewable energy, protection and control, and field operations and support.

During the Endeavour Energy engineering internship, you will engage in a variety of tasks – no two days are the same! You may need to work on the design of substations, transmission, or distribution networks using software tools like AutoCAD.
