Our company, with its Head Office in Sydney NSW, is looking for a Graduate Field Service Engineer to join our Technical Engineering Team to be based in Hills District Dural, Sydney (near Castle Hill).

Job Description:
- Graduate Role is based in Dural, Sydney (near Castle Hill) – with continual onsite Field Service work servicing customers in Sydney, Greater Sydney Area, Regional New South Wales and occasional Interstate travel. Overseas training is a possibility.
- Reporting to Senior Field Service Engineer Manager.
- Initial and ongoing formal customer operator and Card Printer maintenance training. This includes coordination training with US-based supplier and working with a Senior Technical Field Service Engineer. Customer training also includes assessing customer training needs and making recommendations to US-based suppliers regarding the need for additional training.
- Provide on-site setup and installation of all Card Printers, Digital Identity and Software. This includes working with the customer regarding pre-installation requirements as well as assisting the customer in unloading all components for the card print system and positioning it in the customer's facility.
- Provide detailed technical feedback during weekly team meetings with the Senior Technical Field Service Engineer, and after each customer visit, as required.
- The role is a mixture of in-house remote support and onsite service work. We use Zen Desk Ticketing System for customer technical customer queries.
- Be able to learn new skills and new product knowledge as they become available.
- You are the face of our company when you visit customers you must have the ability to effectively communicate, represent and assist our customers in all capacities, patiently and with a friendly attitude.
- Customer satisfaction and positive customer experience is the single most important part of this position.
Job Requirements:
- TAFE qualifications in Electrician and Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent preferred.
- Interest in the Card Printer ID Industry and Digital Identity with a willingness to learn ALL aspects of Card Printer and Software Technology. Must be a quick learner and must be willing to follow instructions carefully, as required.
- Willingness to travel locally (throughout NSW), interstate and overseas. Must have a current NSW Driver’s License and must be a Permanent Australian Resident with an Australian Passport.
- Customer communication skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction is a must! Must be able to demonstrate evidence of this in previous employment.
- Demonstrate ability to independently manage your workload (includes effective management of assets i.e. parts, tools, and company information).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems, with ongoing guidance from Senior Technical Engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to provide telephone technical support to customers and to effectively communicate (via telephone and email) with Product Service Engineers (Hardware and Applications).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and basic networking protocols is preferred. Willingness to quickly learn new Hardware/Software and keep up-to-date with the latest emerging technology.
- Excellent Professional English (written and verbal) and Oral Communication are absolutely essential.

Salary Package $50-$55k plus super and car allowance. Salary Package to include Laptop and Mobile Phone. All job-related expenses are reimbursed monthly (excluding Motor Vehicle-related expenses).
