Your role

The CS Energy Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team is seeking a Graduate for the Environment Team. This role plays a vital part within their diverse team of over 20 HSE practitioners, each with their own area of expertise and experience. It's an excellent opportunity to acquire hands-on experience and contribute to the company's commitment to environmental sustainability. Throughout the program you will rotate through various sites and teams and gain a broad range of experience including but not limited to:

  • Conduct field activities to ensure compliance with environmental license conditions, including sample collection, monitoring, inspections, land rehabilitation, and waste management
  • Prepare reports and investigate environmental incidents
  • Maintain our ISO 14001:2015 accredited Environmental Management System

About you

Requirements:

  • CS Energy is seeking motivated, values-aligned individuals who have recently graduated, or will graduate by the end of 2024 with one of the following degrees:
    • BSc of Environmental Science or Land Resources Management
  • A team player with a focus on safety, you’ll collaborate effectively with others to drive CS Energy’s success. Your innovative ideas and unique perspectives will be instrumental in their transition to a sustainable energy future.

Training & development

About the Graduate Program:

The program offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights over two years through working with various teams across the organization. In addition to learning from seasoned professionals at the Brisbane corporate office, participants will also have the chance to collaborate with different teams at the company's sites in Queensland, including Callide Power Station in Biloela and Kogan Power Station in Chinchilla. Rotations will typically last between three and six months, with travel and accommodation costs covered by the program during these extended placements.
