Your role

The Graduate Civil Engineer supports the maintenance of Structural Assets in a safe and serviceable condition. This includes ensuring relevant asset strategies are up to date and applied appropriately. Throughout the program you will rotate through various sites and teams and gain a broad range of experience including but not limited to the:

  • Inspection and monitoring of structures at a specified frequency, developing repair scope if required and verification that maintenance and repairs have been completed to specifications
  • Participation in technical investigations and reporting on asset safety, condition, and reliability issues
  • Provide Civil Engineering support in the creation of new assets through the capital project process
  • Providing technical input into the management of the change process where required

Requirements:

  • CS Energy is seeking motivated, values-aligned individuals who have recently graduated or will graduate by the end of 2024 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Training & development

About the Graduate Program:

The program offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights over two years through working with various teams across the organization. In addition to learning from seasoned professionals at the Brisbane corporate office, participants will also have the chance to collaborate with different teams at the company's sites in Queensland, including Callide Power Station in Biloela and Kogan Power Station in Chinchilla. Rotations will typically last between three and six months, with travel and accommodation costs covered by the program during these extended placements.
