Their 68-place centre in Ryde is looking for a passionate cook or chef to join the team. You will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious snacks and meals based on the dietary requirements of the children. You will collaborate with the team to plan menus based on the D'harawal seasons with feedback provided from staff, families, and their children.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a cook or chef however experience in an early childhood service is not essential. Within the first three months you will be required to complete training in food safety and nutritional training.
You will ideally be able to work five days a week, however four days will be considered. This can be a full time role, or reduced hour each day with additional kitchen support.
