Junior Project Sales Estimator - TAFE Students Preferred null

An exciting entry level opportunity exists for highly motivated individuals to join our national sales team. In this position, you will report to the Project and Export Services Manager for ANZ and will be supported by a team of internal and external sales as well as daily interaction with customers both internal and external.

Based in Western Sydney with Onsite parking available.

Principle Duties (includes, but may not be limited to):

• Provides price and lead-time Quotations, processes customer orders, expediting of customer orders from the factory, warehouse & suppliers
• Interpret customer requirements from specifications and data sheets
• Raise and process sales orders within QAD system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Provide product and technical information to customers and end users in a timely manner
• Liaise with operations and supply chain relating to customer shipment dates
• Effective monitoring and follow-up of quotations
• Manages all change orders, order cancellations, existing sales order updates, and expedites.
• Maintain reporting requirements/date management

The successful applicant will require:

• Undergraduate degree, Mechanical diploma or equivalent field/trade background
• The experience of demonstrated sales/project management skills would be an added advantage  
• Industrial Sales experience within the valve or a related industry such as pipe/fitting, pumps, irrigation or a business with a common industry customer base would be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation & communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience with an ERP processing system – preferred 
• Ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Effectively use MS Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Export knowledge and an understanding of Controlled Products would be beneficial
