Your role

The Berry Domestic Harvest and Operations Graduate is a Category Graduate Program position over 12 months. As a graduate in this program, you are likely to take a career path within Costa’s Berry Domestic category, whilst being provided with the opportunity to explore different career options.

As a Berry Domestic Harvest and Operations Graduate, you will be working closely with a range of experienced members in the Berries operations leadership teams who are responsible for the construction of their farms and growing of crops, leading hundreds of employees to a safe and enjoyable employment experience.

As part of this Graduate program, you are likely to be offered the opportunity to support the businesses of different Berry farms, which means you are expected to move across different locations and regions.

About you

To qualify for the Berry Domestic Harvest and Operations Graduate position, you must:

  • Be in your final year or recently finished a Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree. Of particular interest for Costa are degrees in:
    • Agricultural Science
    • Horticulture
    • Agribusiness
    • Business, with an interest in agriculture
    • Science, with an interest in agriculture
    • Human Resources
  • Hold a driver’s licence
  • Have your own personal reliable transport 
  • Be ready and willing to relocate and work in different sites during the program, most of which are regional locations.
  • Be ready, willing, and available to commence the Program on 10 February 2025

Training, development & rotations

The program provides a structured leadership and development training program, offering access to managers and executives. You'll play a central role in producing premium quality fruit and vegetables and gain exposure to industry networks.

As part of this role, you are likely to be rotating through to one or more different Costa Berry regions, which could include FNQ (i.e. Atherton/Walkamin), WA (i.e. Gingin), Tasmania (i.e. Devonport) or NSW (i.e. Corindi). You will be experiencing one or more rotations throughout this program which could include experiences in the Operations, Food Safety and Quality, the Berries Harvesting teams, Safety and Human Resources all of which are aimed to equip you with the skills to manage large teams working on complex projects in challenging circumstances.

Career progression

Upon successful completion of the Program, the successful candidate is likely to be well-positioned to take on an Operations, Safety, Quality or Harvest leadership role in Costa’s Berry Domestic Category.
