In Operations, we are core to delivering the products and services of the Bank to our customers and in doing so have a vital role to play in helping the Group achieve its purpose of building a brighter future for all. Whatever you’re working on, you’ll be empowered to spark change, transform an industry and deliver what really matters. We’re passionate about what we can do with a truly diverse team.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU

We are building the next generation of operational leaders and specialists. We welcome anyone with a passion for improving the customer experience and driving operational excellence. If you have an interest or experience in Operations, including frontline retail we would love to hear from you. A passion or an interest in technology is encouraged but not required.

To be successful in your career in Operations, you’ll need to be proactive, solutions-focused and resilient.

You are a strong role model of our purpose and values, and demonstrate leadership attributes. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and are commercially minded and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

WE INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE

The program commences on 20 February 2023, where you’ll join as a full-time permanent employee. Here you’ll get a taste of what it’s like working at CommBank through professional development opportunities including interactive masterclasses, training courses and graduate conference events to help you transition from full-time study to full-time life!

Your development centres around 4 key elements:

  • Shine: Contribute from day one by working on real projects that impact our business and our customers, within Australia’s largest bank.
  • Develop: Participate in market-leading training to develop your technical and soft skills. This will help with the transition to full-time work from university and ensure you excel in your immediate and future roles.
  • Network: Build networks and friendships through unparalleled access to senior leaders, project leads and program sponsors, enhancing your personal and business profile.
  • Contribute: Give back to the community through graduate initiatives, driving positive change across our organisation and improving the wellbeing of our graduate cohort.

The program commences on 20 February 2023. When you join our Graduate Program, you join as a full-time permanent employee. So you know we’re invested in you to transition from full-time study to full-time life!

You’ll work within supportive teams and develop your skills while you contribute to our transformation journey. You’ll be encouraged to pursue your interests in operations across areas such as Performance & Strategy, Financial Crimes, Commercial Operations, Market Operations and Retail Operations – to name a few.

You’ll gain access to world-class development resources to help you expand your skills. We are future focused with a high performance culture so continually building our people capability is integral to what we do. We have an inclusive culture where we want you to bring your best self to work and sharing ideas is encouraged amongst our community of talented and diverse people.

Our Operations teams are based across Australia, and our Graduate cohort will be too. This program will have Graduates based in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

We will support you to work when and where works best for you. Award winning flexible working practices, supportive parental and life leave options, plus dedicated volunteering leave are just a few reasons we think you’ll thrive here. I value CommBank’s approach to practical on-the-job learning. I’ve had the ability to apply the communications and creative problem-solving skills that I learnt at uni, to what I’m working on in the real world.
