- A Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or equivalent
- Experience in an Outside School Hours Care service
- An understanding of the National Quality Framework including The Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the My Time,

- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
- A current Working With Children Check
- Compliance with Child Protection legislation is essential
