What's on offer

This exciting position offers an opportunity to gain valuable insight into the field of community safety and crime prevention within a local government context. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of the City's 2027 Community Safety Program and have the opportunity to:

• develop skills in the field of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and prepare safety audit reports with recommendations for design improvements of public spaces
• assist with the delivery of community safety awareness and education campaigns and activities
• attend and contribute to a variety of network and stakeholder meetings
• learn about the City’s Safety Camera Network as a community safety initiative and assist with key projects.
• respond to enquiries about community safety projects and issues
