Here’s a snapshot of your day as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Performing assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
  • Maintaining lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Responding quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies and directives related to building operations and work safety.

Skills and experience:

  • Your interest in repairs and maintenance work within commercial buildings
  • Willingness and ability to learn testing and inspection of assets and systems
  • Ability to obtain valid OH&S cards
  • Interest in obtaining a trade or gaining experience in a trade-based role
  • Valid Driver’s License
