Catering is a key component of the service we provide to our aged care residents at Bodington.

Bodington is our 120-bed home offering exceptional care to all our residents. Situated in the picturesque bushland of Wentworth Falls, we offer a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated with compassion and respect. We are approximately 90 minutes’ drive west of Sydney and 45 minutes’ drive from Penrith with onsite parking available.

Given our location, and distance from public transport services, having your own vehicle would be extremely advantageous. 

As a member of the Catering team at Bodington, you will be preparing meals for our residents and managing an established team of catering assistants. This role includes overseeing effective meal service to our aged care residents, as well as providing best practice service in kitchen cleanliness, documentation and food preparation.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential)
• Previous experience in managing a kitchen and kitchen staff
• Previous experience in an Aged Care environment, highly desirable
• Knowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principles
• Demonstrated Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
• Experience with the Vulnerable person food safety act
• Willingness to provide Flu and Covid vaccination evidence
• NDIS check or willing to obtain
