Position Description

Your role

• You will be based in Rydalmere but work over the Sydney metropolitan area
• You will be paid while you attend training at TAFE along with participating in Carrier in-house training sessions
• Being a manufacturer, you will be working on world-class Carrier equipment whilst being guided and instructed by highly skilled and qualified Trade personnel
• You will learn:
  • Diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, assembly, and administration tasks.
• You will gain valuable hands-on experience, skills, and support and secure a long-term career that would set you up for life.

To be successful

You will bring the following skills and be able to meet the following requirements of the role:

• A current driver’s license with your own reliable transport
• A strong aptitude for hands-on, mechanical tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliability, self-motivation, and a willingness to work
• The ability to perform physical work in sometimes demanding conditions
• The commitment to attend TAFE
• Eager to learn new skills
• Have a clear idea of why you want to do this trade, do some research, and show us that you've thought about it. This can especially help if you're lacking experience
• Hold a White-Card or be willing to obtain one
