Caroline Counsel Family Lawyers (CCFL) is one of Australia’s leading family law boutique firms and is offering a legal administrative/ Client Liaison role for people who are currently undertaking or have completed a Certificate IV in Legal Services (and similar courses).  If you are shortlisted for this role, you may receive a request to initially meet with members of the CCFL team online.  We can discuss the role in greater detail and those shortlisted will be given the opportunity to discuss what they are looking for in this entry level role.

Candidates should note that CCFL is currently transitioning from an in-person to online workspace, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is self-sufficient but also works well in a team.  You will need to be able to ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s client whilst working remotely and you will also need to be prepared to meet face to face as may be required by the firm for training and ongoing in person meetings.

The successful candidate will need exceptional personal presentation at the highest level even when working in the online environment.  Exceptional communication and people skills are also vitally important as it is a front-facing role, and they will often be the first point of contact for our clients. The successful candidate will also require the ability to multi-task and prioritise work and demonstrate adaptive thinking when working with CCFL’s administrative precedents.

They will also need to be proficient typers and have other competent computer skills (such as being familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Microsoft To Do etc).

Necessary elements of your application include:

  1. Academic transcript;
  2. Curriculum Vitae;
  3. At least 2 references and contact details of your referees (noting the firm will not contact your referees without your consent);
  4. A police check; and
  5. Any other qualification which may be relevant to the role of an administrative assistant in a law firm.
