You will work closely with our programming staff to facilitate a fun, age-appropriate, stimulating, positive and inclusive program for the children in our care

Our vision at Carabella Early Learning Centre is to provide high-quality education and outcomes for children. And we aim to do this through a combination of spontaneous and planned child-centred and intentional teaching. We believe play, fun and laughter are the vehicles for learning.

The foundation of our program is a sense of belonging. For this to occur, infants and children need to feel safe, secure, and supported through trusting relationships.

An ethos of respect underpins our relationships with children, their families, their choices, and their voices. We also believe open communication and honesty are the cornerstone to reciprocal relationships, confidence and trust being built between everyone at our centre, from management and staff, parents, and children.

It’s our belief that children learn best through play and being in the moment, with educators who know and understand them extending their experiences through all interactions, routines, experiences, and events.
Play can include loose parts collections such as wood, shells, corks, bottle tops, pipes and hoses as these encourage agency and imaginative play.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to work within a centre that has been Rated Exceeding since 2015
  • A stand-alone centre with no unreasonable expectations from head office
  • Flexible, caring management who supports a work/life balance and allows autonomy
  • A supportive and friendly, well-established team environment
  • No unnecessary paperwork
  • An outstanding, purpose-built, natural environment
  • An environment that has a strong natural aesthetic, boasting beautiful gardens and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors which bathe our learning environments in natural light.
  • Dedicated programming space and time to program with no expectation to program from home.
  • Convenient location that is close to the M2 and public transport.
  • A day off every week and shared shifts throughout the room
