2025 Graduate Program

Come join our award-winning graduate program, where the focus is on your talents and a support system to enable you to thrive.

We are proud of our recent industry awards:

  • Weโ€™re most proud of our recognition by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers for being the NUMBER 1 outstanding graduate program over 50 based on Graduate Satisfaction (and as voted for by Grads).
  • We are the NUMBER 1 graduate employer overall and accordingly, the NUMBER 1 program for management consulting (Prosple).
  • We are also very proud to be acknowledged as the number 3 most popular graduate program in the country (and NUMBER 1 in Technology Consulting), as recognised by Graduate Connect and the Australian Financial Review.

Come join us!

If you are transgender, or gender diverse, and know you will have challenges completing identity checks due to name changes, please be sure to contact talentacquisitionaunz@capgemini.com, and our team will handle your application with extra layers of support required.

What will you be doing?

In the yearlong graduate program, youโ€™ll be shown the ropes through foundation masterclasses, then depending on your skill set youโ€™ll be off doing project work โ€“ it could be software development if thatโ€™s your jam, or organisational change management or business analysis if thatโ€™s what your skills are aligned to.

The company has a global workforce of over 350,000 people who help our clients solve their most complex business and technology challenges. Youโ€™ll be on real projects doing real things to contribute, however our program team will be there to support you, so you thrive.

What are some of the awesome benefits?

Well, thereโ€™s no demand to come into the office every day โ€“ so you do you! You align with your project team and flex for what the project needs of you โ€“ thereโ€™s flexibility to work from home due to the hybrid working environment, and there are benefits to pay for your home equipment set up and claim for your data and phone needs.

These are just some of the great benefits, but our Learning and Development is pretty awesome too, along with all Coursera courses available for free, and you have the freedom to choose to learn what interests you. Industry-recognised certifications for your chosen area will be funded by the Company. Mental well-being is super important to us, as is work-life balance, we walk the talk here โ€“ and if needed, you and your family will also have access to a free counselling service if life gets a bit heavy and you need a professionally trained person to sound things out with.

My day-to-day role is to learn and absorb information based on the projects/internal work I'm involved in. It can be quite repetitive at times but its still a learning process where I'm figuring out what I like and don't like.

Pros and cons of working at Capgemini Australia and New Zealand

Pros

  • The people, the culture, and the variety of the work I do. The onboarding program and support after are unmatched.

  • The culture and commitment to work-life balance. The culture is very welcoming and supportive and everyone is so genuine and nice.

  • The company is very employee-oriented, providing great support and opportunities. From offering great employee benefits to professional development opportunities as well interpersonal growth opportunities such as soft-skills training classes Capgemini really is the most ideal company to work at!

  • The support that you get from managers and colleagues for career development. The flexibility in terms of how and where you want to work from. The resources to execute your work. It's a great ecosystem.

  • The people and the work culture are amazing. Everyone has the best intentions and wants you to grow in your graduate year. I absolutely love the stream of work I'm in and enjoy learning about it through collaboration with higher-level consultants, managers, and directors.

Cons

    • Wouldn't call it out as the worst but something I found surprising is the amount of coworker turnover at the company.

    • The type/amount of work you receive is inconsistent due to the nature of consulting companies.

    • As it is a large company you can sometimes feel lost in it all.

    • The location is quite far from me so the commute gets tiring if I'm in the office for more than 2 days straight.

    • Capgemini has a lot of positive aspects, there may be some areas for improvement like base compensation and other corporate benefits
