We are looking to recruit a junior/cadet estimator to support our existing estimating team of 3 for a 6 - 12 month period.
Upon successful completion of this period, we have the opportunity for the employee to then move into a project team as a project coordinator.
Looking for a part time student who is able to work 3-4 days per week from our Head Office in Redfern.
KEY TASKS
- Assisting our existing estimating team of 3
- Collate job specifications and drawings for quotes
- Follow up on client queries and subcontractor quotes
- General adhoc for estimating department
- Attending site visits with estimating department during tender periods
- Organising & scheduling site visits with subcontractors during tendering period
- Complete and compile necessary paperwork for contractual agreements
- Assist on technical scope of works for quotes
- Liaise with suppliers on material specifications and pricing
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- MS Office, Estimate One & Cubit experience preferred but not essential.
- Training in systems & software to be provided upon hire
