This is a great opportunity for Graduate Engineers who are keen to learn the cable industry and import products for sale within Australia and New Zealand, ranging from 1kV to 550kV cable and cable systems
Roles and Responsibilities
- Compiling of quotations and tenders including costing sheets and submission documents.
- Coordinating with manufacturing factories overseas
- Ability to take responsibility yet work in a team environment
- Freight costing and deliveries to Australia-wide sites
- Tracking and project management
- Liaising daily for pricing and technical
- Project tracking
- Import products for sale within Australia and New Zealand, ranging from 1kV to 550kV cable and cable systems
Skills, Experience and requirements
- Ethical and honest behaviour at all times
- Attention to detail and problem solving ability.
- Compiling of tenders and documents
- Mix of technical and commercial experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Microsoft & Apple Operating Systems
- Enthusiastic and willingness to learn
- Excellent computer skills including strong understanding of Excel/Word
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message clearly.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
