We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated nursing graduate to join our team at Brecken Health in a full-time or part-time role. The role will be based at Shenton Park General Practice.

Our Brecken Health Graduate Induction Program will give you an introduction to practice nursing, and the knowledge and skills required to work in a General Practice environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Patient triage
  • Assisting GP's with emergency/injury management
  • Maintaining the treatment room and managing patient presentations
  • Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments
  • Vaccinations and iron infusions
  • Stock control

Essentials:

  • Completion or near completion of your Nursing Degree.
  • AHPRA nursing registration (or you meet the requirements to receive registration)
  • The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • You will be working alongside a large, multidisciplinary team; we are looking for a team player with the ability to multitask
  • We utilise a range of clinical and scheduling software which requires strong computer skills
  • We have a friendly and supportive team, so a positive, can-do attitude is essential
