Sheet Metal Worker - TAFE Students Preferred null

We are based in Lawson in the Blue Mountains and since COVID our business has grown a lot. We need to employ someone in our small team who has some experience but is ready to learn more and work closely with us. 

We are a small jobbing shop and some of the role responsibilities may include:

• Completing jobs from drawing to finished product in a timely and accurate manner
• Unload/load trucks for delivery as required
• Job deliveries as required
• Ensuring workshop is kept tidy after jobs are completed
• Taking great pride in your work
• Working well with team to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
• Workshop maintenance

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• High work ethic. 
• Strong listening skills
• Able to work in high pressure situations
• Proven problem solving skills
• Shows strong initiative
• Ability to focus on task at hand  
• Able to operate various machinery, including guillotine, press brake and band saw (not essential)
• CAD drawing skills (not essential)

The ideal candidate will have some experience, and is perhaps a 2nd or 3rd year student ready to further the career with us.
