Your role

Beveridge Williams currently has an opportunity for a highly motivated Graduate Civil Engineer who is ready to kick start their career in a friendly and supportive team environment.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will:

  • Participate in assigned projects ensuring appropriate technical skills are being used.
  • Supported & mentored to become a well-rounded Civil Engineer, while given opportunities to collaborate with their Town Planning, Landscape Architecture & Surveying teams.
  • Ensure that any project documentation developed is in accordance with both client brief and statutory regulations while ensuring all QA standards are met.
  • Contribute to the development & design of road, drainage, sewer, water & wetlands, construction & land development.
  • Assist with site surveillance.
  • Liaise with external consultants i.e. Electrical, Communication & Structural Engineers.

About you

Required skills and experience:

  • Recently graduated or graduating this year, with your bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to use a range of computer software applications relevant to this role, including MS Office applications and CAD (12D. AutoCAD or Microstation).
  • High level of interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the capacity to manage several competing tasks at once and work to deadlines.
  • Understanding of Planning and Environmental Legislation.
  • Strong attention to detail in the completion of tasks and practical knowledge of engineering techniques.
  • Commitment to furthering your career as a consultant engineer in land development.

Training & development

During the two-year Engineering Graduate Program, graduates are trained in design, infrastructure, water resources engineering and construction, playing roles in major projects within these disciplines.
