How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
I work part-time throughout the year, my team is happy to let me absorb more work and pay overtime for me when I have the resource.

Working ours are flexible as long as you get your work done. under-resourcing can cause for more hours in the office than I would like to get jobs done

Beca offers a balanced approach to work hours. Typically, we maintain a 40-hour workweek, but there's flexibility in how these hours are managed. Personally, I often work remotely on Mondays and then spend the rest of the week in the office. If I've completed my 40 hours before Friday, I have the option to call off early. Importantly, any overtime worked beyond the standard 40 hours is compensated accordingly. This flexibility allows for a work arrangement that suits both individual preferences and business needs.

Beca has had a reputation in the past for being pretty brutal with overtime but that's changed now. Also, if you know how to schedule yourself and not over allocate yourself to projects then it works out fine - standard 40 hours is easily attainable. If you have an appointment or special event the company is very flexible with you taking time off for it. Very understanding. Furthermore I've observed mothers of multiple children/ newborns getting reduced hours with ease to tailor to the needs of the rest of their lifestyle. That's pretty cool I reckon.

They're quite flexible. I work from 7:30 to 4. Sometimes I leave early or stay late depending on well resourced I am. Most others do similar hours. It is not encouraged to work later than usual. I have heard there is a bad work culture where intermediates are over worked and are told to not put the time on their timesheet.
