Kickstart your HR career with an industry leader! This is a key support role assisting the team with all end-to-end HR processes as well as department projects.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your HR knowledge in a fast-paced role where no two days are the same!

As the HR Administration Officer, your main responsibility will be to assist with the administration of all HR processes whilst also providing support to the wider HR team. The role will see you working closely with the HR Advisor to ensure that processes are followed and correctly maintained within appropriate systems.

Key responsibilities include

  • Be highly visible and available for employee queries across the site and escalate any serious matters to the HR Advisor
  • Ensure a basic understanding of the relevant Awards
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation in relation to counselling and disciplinary requirements as per company policy, best practice and legislative requirements
  • Escalate complex people matters to the HR Advisor as required
  • Facilitate and support employee incentive programs that encourage the engagement of staff
  • Assist with the communication to staff in conjunction with other HR staff to ensure that staff are continuously informed of activities across the organisation through relevant channels
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure all new employees are entered into the HRIS
  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process for operational staff on a weekly basis.
  • Actively support the wider HR team with a range of HR activities across the organisation throughout the year

About You

You’re a self-starter that embraces challenges. You will come with well-developed communication and prioritisation skills. Your strong focus on customer service, teamed with your high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving will see you thrive in this role!

The successful candidate will possess the following

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage change within team environments
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly organised with competent time management skills
  • Previous experience working within a Manufacturing/ FMCG business (desirable)
