BDOโ€™s Vacationer Program enables your career to take flight. You will be involved in meaningful client work, receiving support from your partners and team every step of the way.

As a vacationer, you experience on-the-job training, are allocated a buddy for the duration of your placement, and have the opportunity to work with professionals on real client work from day one. Itโ€™s a great opportunity to experience the BDO culture first-hand while working as part of the team, and to start building professional relationships.

Vacationers are the future leaders of our firm. We understand choosing your career pathway while at university can be exciting, which is why we offer an inclusive and supportive community from day one.

Vacation programs are offered in June/July, November/December or January/February and are 4 - 8 weeks in duration. These programs give you the opportunity to gain real-life work experience in a service line of interest to you before considering what your graduate career path will look like.

What you need to succeed

  • You are a student in your pre-penultimate or penultimate year of university and completing an eligible university degree for the teams you are applying for
  • We want you to be involved with our clients and real work from day one! Youโ€™ll bring confidence in your communication and interpersonal skills for BDO to continue in delivering excellence in client service
  • Aptitude towards adaptability alongside being naturally inquisitive to position BDO strongly for the future
