Your role

Here’s your chance to go to the next level as Bayer Australia's Software QA Engineer. This critical role will see you carrying out software QA activities within the R&D Radiology team based in Rydalmere.

Do something that moves you:

  • Carry out software QA tasks under the direction of the Software QA lead
  • Assist in planning and executing test activities for medical device software via manual and automated testing
  • Writing test plans for product releases
  • Finding and reporting software vulnerabilities
  • Producing test reports
  • Maintaining software quality-related documentation including test results, test plans, test guidelines etc
  • Adherence to both internal and industry software quality standards and the internal product development process
  • Working on initiatives to improve test processes

About you

Does this sound like you? 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in Python and one other computer language, preferably C, C++ or JavaScript
  • Object-oriented programming experience
  • Experienced in building and working with automated test tools and testing framework
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • Complex technical problem solver
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Desirable:

  • Experience in a regulated industry (preferably medical devices)
