Role Positioning and Objectives

This role is part of Commercial Marketing.

The Planning & Insights Analyst is responsible for contributing to the achievement of brand, volume, and distribution objectives by analysing trends through reporting for the Northern Cluster operational team as well as the National Field Team.

Working within the National Field environment, the Planning & Insights Analyst is to be pro-active in ensuring that accurate and timely analysis of market performance is communicated to State Management. This analysis will assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans

Reports to: Head of Northern Cluster Operations

What you will be accountable for:

  • Analyse and provide accurate and detailed forward estimates by way of the SOP process for volume, promotional and merchandising spend by brand, channel and account.
  • To provide the State Management team/ TMR field force with Data to support their own patch initiatives upon set up and regular progress updates
  • Work cross collaboratively with other functions to reduce duplication and increase efficiency of reporting and analytical tasks Ensure learning's are shared and build upon ideas, whilst personally sharing wins across State and departments.
  • Ensure relevant information is collected and received and communicated to stakeholders across the State, National Field and Head Office.

  • Advanced excel utilising vba & macros
  • Strong analytical capabilities and storytelling capabilities
  • Powerpoint experience utilising easily digestible graphs and data visuals

Remuneration and benefits

You will receive a competitive remuneration package between AUD 70,000 – AUD 80,000.
