As a Care Worker servicing clients in Lismore and surrounding areas, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them to live independently at home and doing the things they love by helping them with everyday activities such as (but not limited to):

• Support and assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing
• Household cleaning and laundry
• Meal preparation
• Providing respite for carers
• Transport to and from appointments/shops
• Social support
• Assisting with complex care needs

What do we need from you?

A completed Certificate III in Individual support, Aged Care or higher is essential for this position.

You must have some or all availability to work between Monday - Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm, this is a set non negotiable shift.

You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills and have an empathetic, patient and caring nature.

This role does require you to have a valid driver licence and own a reliable motor vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance as you need to travel to our clients’ homes.

• Permanent Part Time position offering up to 60 hours per fortnight
• Some weekend availability is advantageous
• You will be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans
• It is a requirement you undergo background checks including a new police check
