Don’t be daunted by the idea of starting something different – especially if you are new to aged care. BaptistCare are committed to supporting you every step of the way as you go through a detailed orientation, partner with a “buddy” out in the field and have access to ongoing learning and support.

As a Care Worker servicing clients in the Northern Beaches and surrounding areas, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities such as (but not limited to):

  • Support and assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Household cleaning and laundry
  • Meal preparation
  • Providing respite for carers
  • Transport to and from appointments/shops
  • Social support
  • Assisting with complex care needs
  • Work with each client to continue to do the things they love

What do we need from you?

You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills and have an empathetic, patient and caring nature.

This role does require you to have an Australian driver licence, own a reliable motor vehicle with minimum Third Party Property Damage car insurance as you need to travel to our clients’ homes.
