Refrigeration Mechanic - TAFE Students Preferred null

Ayme Staffing are proud to partner with an Industry leading provider of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration solutions to the Central West. Due to growth, our client is looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team on a Full-Time basis.  Our client is renowned for their commitment to delivering high quality services to their clients on a range of residential, and commercial projects.  

As a Refrigeration Mechanic you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of systems.

Responsibilities: 

• Install, repair, and maintain a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems and ducted systems
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Conduct thorough site inspections and assessments to determine the optimal placement and configuration of air conditioning units.
• Perform electrical connections, refrigerant line installations, and ductwork modifications as required.
• Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client enquiries, explaining system functionality, and offering maintenance tips.
• Complete installation-related documentation through the online portal.

Requirements: 

• Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
• Proficient knowledge of various air conditioning systems and their installation processes.
• Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Current Driver’s license.
• Other tickets and qualifications e.g. working at heights would be highly regarded.
