Job Summary:  

Ayme Staffing are partnering with an Industry leading Electrical Business based in Bathurst. Due to growth, our client is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team on a Full-Time basis.  Our client is renowned for their commitment to delivering high quality services to their clients on a range of residential, and commercial projects.  

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure.  

Responsibilities: 

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical and communications systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Collaborate with clients, tradespeople and team members to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Supervise junior team members and provide guidance.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards.
• Update and maintain records using web based software.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements: 

• Electrical Trade Qualification and Current Drivers Licence.
• White Card.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical plans and drawings.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting repairs.
• Ability to estimate material and labour costs accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Other tickets such as working at heights, master cabling licences or high-risk licences are highly regarded.
