Your role:

As a Wellbeing Officer, you will enter the Navy as a qualified member of the human services sector, working at sea and ashore. You'll work together with religious chaplains and be responsible for providing non-religious pastoral care and spiritual support to all Navy members and their families. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting civil ceremonies and secular services for a range of occasions including individual and ceremonial events.

You will also have a role in advising on ethical and moral issues affecting the workforce and will take part in character development responsibilities in the training of all personnel.

Salary:

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you'll enjoy a salary package starting from $103,960.

For this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and under 56 years of age on day of entry. You will need to hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field and at least two full years of pastoral care experience.
