Your role:

You’ll start your career in the Navy fully qualified in your profession but through Navy’s specialised training you’ll gain more skills. 

As a Generalist, adult Medical/Surgical, Perioperative, Intensive Care or Emergency Nurse, you'll serve in a variety of well-equipped Defence facilities in Australia and overseas. 

You’ll use your skills and provide expert care in unique environments with a large degree of autonomy in practice. You will provide primary health care, triage and specialist skills to Defence personnel. You may also have the opportunity to maintain clinical skills through employment in civilian hospitals (dependent on unit requirements).

Salary: 

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $90,629.
