Your role

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the engineering and environmental teams to develop and implement cutting-edge strategies that enhance energy transmission and distribution systems while minimizing their environmental impact.

You will have the opportunity to engage in groundbreaking projects that involve renewable energy integration, smart grid development, and sustainable infrastructure planning.

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

• Provide environmental impact and management advice to project teams to support the development of project solutions. 
• Review environmental documentation for projects assessed by an Environment Effect Statement (EES).
• Provide support to the design and EES and planning team to ensure environmental management issues are resolved to achieve the best project outcomes.
• Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend government and internal meetings.
• Prepare environmental reports for the client.
• Identify environmental risks and opportunities to be consistent with approval requirements, schedule and budget.

About you

To be eligible to apply for the Environmental Engineering Graduate Program, you will have:

• Full working rights in Australia
• Graduated in 2023 or graduate by December 2024, with a degree qualification in any of the fields below:
  • Environmental Science
  • Environmental Planning
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Or a related field

Training, development & rotations
