Working Hours at Ashurst

7.6
7.6 rating for Working Hours, based on 90 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Our hours are fairly flexible, but sometimes you will have to work late on a weekend or after hours, to complete a task. that said, there's no culture where you always have to be in the office.

There is not significant flexibility in a top tier law firm model. however, they do emphasise not working just for the sake of working, and carefully manage our capacity.

Flexibility is extremely team-dependent. i have been lucky enough to work in teams that accommodate flexible working arrangements.

Relatively flexible, however hours can be longer and expected to be available sometimes later at night.

Flexible working arrangements which allows you to break up the week with a work load manageable to the hours you anticipate to do in any given week.

The workplace is extremely flexible when it comes to working hours. this includes being able to work from home and being able to work from home for part of the day. if i do need to work later than normal, i can go home and finish work there, rather than staying late in the office. i feel as though i am trusted to complete my work and have the opportunity to do that in a way that suits me, rather than being forced to adhere to the schedule of my supervisors.

Standard top tier transactional law hours. no surprises but the team is not a face time one.

Depends which practice group. right now my group is flexible, but generally as a junior you have no control over your hours

My team is very good at trying to make sure everyone is out by 6:30 most days. i am, and i'm grateful for that. it's not the same elsewhere in the company. it's also quite easy to get leave or a work from home day -- all i have to do is ask.

I generally work between a 8.5 - 11 hours day. i like to come into work early when i am fresh. some days i will work longer. i am not really sure how flexible my hours are i have not requested any flexibility.

Quite flexible

There are ups and downs. there are weeks where i will work a 9 hour day every day and leave by 5 30pm, and there are weeks where most nights i am only leaving the office at 9-10pm.
