Your role

Working as an intern for Surety at Aon, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience and supporting colleagues with a range of tasks, to assist in retention, by bringing the best of Aon to clients. This role has a hybrid working arrangement.

What the day will look like

You will work closely with an Aon leader (Client Director) and have access to multiple aspects of the Aon business across the Surety space.

  • You will learn about industry risk profiles and mitigation strategies including capabilities Aon can bring to help clients reduce their risks across Surety solutions
  • Portfolio Analysis
  • Financial Analysis
  • Administration of Internal Strategic Review Meetings
  • Client Documentation development
  • Industry Sector Risk Register and Capabilities Development
  • Facility Analysis
  • Data & Analytics Reporting
  • Ad hoc Project Management

About You

Skills and experience that will lead to success: 

  • Midway or final year student with a relevant University Degree i.e. Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, Law
  • Interest in insurance and/or financial services
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, numeracy and analytical skills
  • Pro-active, self-starter, agile learner
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal direction as required
