2022 Facility Maintenance Officer - TAFE Students Preferred null

 This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to take responsibility for the maintenance operations of a charity that cares for children with disabilities and work as part of a small dedicated team.

Located at Allowah Presbyterian Children’s Hospital in Dundas Valley, we are seeking a maintenance officer on a permanent part-time basis, working 24 hours a week. Flexible days/hours are available for the right candidate, with a preference for Wednesday to Friday.

You would be responsible for:

• Painting throughout the facility
• Facility Equipment testing / maintenance
• Testing and maintenance of facility devices
• Regular Preventative Maintenance tasks and checks
• Assist in WHS checks
• General handyman maintenance
• Fixing blind cords
• Door handles
• Lightbulb replacements
• Equipment repairs; chairs, tables, gates
• Specialty cleaning through facility
• Steam cleaning
• Pressure washing
• General tidying of facility grounds
• Assist with contractor coordination and communication
• Stacking and sorting deliveries
• Weekly 240L bin runs to street with buggy
• Other duties as required
