Alive Building Co. is seeking additional hands to join its growing team. Working as a team member on a full-time basis, reporting to the site supervisor, you will ensure projects are completed on time and ensure compliance with legislation and building codes. Some of your responsibilities but not limited to are:

• Site measures, fabrication and installation of required home modifications including ramps, rails, and step modifications.
• Liaising with clients/management/contractors to ensure expectations are met.
• Ability to read & interpret plans.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and according to plans
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace

About you:

Alive Building Co. is looking for a driven, reliable team player who can also operate well under pressure. You must have good verbal and written communication skills and be client focused. Attention to detail is paramount, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. You can also demonstrate:

• Willingness to adhere to all WHS legislation & company policies
• Ability to read and understand engineering/building drawings
• Extensive knowledge in building construction
• Ability to operate tools and equipment.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be capable of managing other trades
• Holds a current qualification in Carpentry
• White card and Working with Children’s Check are a must
