What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
very generous. Never expected to be paid so much
Professional Engineer, Auckland - 10 Nov 2023
Lower compared to similar industries
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Nov 2023
Pay is on par with market rates
Graduate, Canberra - 10 Nov 2023
No bonuses, and not very pay under industry average
Professional, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
The pay bracket for architecture in AECOM is much higher than if I was at a smaller firm. I haven't received a bonus yet at AECOM.
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
No bonuses provided. Pay is average.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
I feel like it is average, not the reason I picked the job. The professional level pay is below average.
Graduate, Perth - 09 Nov 2023
No opportunity for bonuses. Pay is standard median rates.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
Good.
Graduate, Adelaide - 09 Nov 2023
Pay is lower than industry standard, Bonuses do not exist. Pay also seems to have no correlation to performance so there is no motivation to perform exceptionally.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Pretty good.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
I would like pay to be higher at my company. I believe that if I move to the government, I can make 50% more than my current salary for the same level.
Professional Engineer, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
All good.
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
Average
Professional, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Graduate pay is not bad, however I feel that it could be slightly higher and that there should be an incentive structure for graduates who work hard and deliver more to be rewarded accordingly. as opposed to the identical cohort wide salary strategy currently in place.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Pretty standard. Little flexibility to negotiate.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
AECOM has the most competitive remuneration I have seen in the engineering consultancy field.
Professional, Cairns - 08 Nov 2023
I believe in what I stated for how I believe people should prepare themselves when applying for AECOM. I thought I was worth slightly more (like 2 percent more) but that will come with time. Certainly not upset and am definitely grateful to be in the company and team I am in. Everything will come with experience and time. p.s. I do not understand the bonus scheme?
Professional, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
Pay is not the greatest. However, somewhat expected at a consultancy where companies are competing to undercut one another. Despite this, I didn't come to the company seeking money but more to develop myself into a competent engineer. If I'd preferred money, would have stayed in previous contractor company where they pay higher.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Hard to say as locked in grad programm. Bonuses would be good for exceptional work, but haven't come across this yet.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
