Good to have ability to network with other grads

Strong culture aided by the young professional committee (Connect).
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Nov 2023
Culture is good. People seem to be low key and upper management is very approachable. There are plenty of opportunities for socialising with sports club, friday drinks, Connect events, morning teas in every occasion and LOTS and LOTS of food.
Professional Engineer, Auckland - 10 Nov 2023
Culture, diversity, and professionalism are why I feel great working at AECOM.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2023
Good company culture with healthy communication between management levels and a comfortable work place for all people. Socializing is perhaps average or just below.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
There is little hierarchy imbalance, people higher than me in my team treat me with respect and courtesy. Everybody was friendly and welcoming.
Graduate, Perth - 09 Nov 2023
Great culture between graduates/early professionals, usually have events after work such as bars, networking and sport. High prioritization on company culture including monthly drinks to network with other colleagues. Multi-layered hierarchy allows for lots of progression and opportunities for promotion.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
Good team to work with. Hierarchy doesn't really exist amongst the team.
Graduate, Adelaide - 09 Nov 2023
Generally good, some teams are pretty progressive The R+I team are misogynists
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
There is a culture club which put on different events during and after work. On Friday our team goes out to lunch and we occasionally do social events outside of work.
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
All coworkers are supportive of any of the new joiners. Project Managers keep tracking the budget of a project, then they organise the best schedule for me as well as other workers who are responsible for the project. It's easy to use annual leave and sick leave whenever workers want.
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
Post-covid work environment has not gone back to the way it was. More office presence would improve the culture of the company
Professional, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Strong heirarchy. But approchable management. Great colleagues, friendly, warm and welcoming. Moderate level of socialising.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
There is a great young professionals community. We eat lunch together most days and often will catchup outside of work. You can be as involved as much or as little as you like.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
Great team (Urbanism and Planning) although not always a huge network or opportunity to work with others outside my team.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
The company culture at a team level is quite good and I have found to have made many friends that I spend time with outside of office hours. However, at higher levels there appears to be more of a level of exclusion because of how big the company is.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Because i come from a construction and manufacturing background where the work is more hands on, necessitating strong teamwork, I feel that there isn't much unity and integration within the team and across different disciplines.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
I am working in welcoming and supportive teams across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. The work culture is one of the biggest plus points for AECOM.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
Company culture is solid
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
My workplace cultivates good culture through hosting events during office hours and after hours. Management in the highways team is supportive and encouraging in terms of allowing me to pursue my career goals.
