Make Amazing Happen!

At AECOM, we believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. We are a team of over 56,000 specialists working across 7 continents to deliver some of the world’s most influential and transformational infrastructure projects.

As a result of a significant project pipeline, our Electrical, Instruments & Controls Team based in our Resources and Industry Group in Brisbane has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to support our growth.
Working in a dynamic, consulting environment on major mining, heavy industry, resources and transport projects - our projects mostly involve designing materials handling systems and infrastructure for underground hard rock mines (copper, gold, zinc, lead etc).

The mine infrastructure includes automation systems, power reticulation, communications networks, refrigeration plants, ventilation fans, dewatering pumps, and battery electrical vehicle chargers.
We also support our civil team by providing electrical engineering to detail design Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), road lighting and traffic signals.

We’re looking for Graduate Engineers that would like to kick off a career in the mining industry, who are keen to gain experience in a broad range of subjects, who can apply practical solutions to problems and  want to learn – if that is you, then this is the position for you.

Graduates – with their fresh thinking and passion for reimagining what’s possible – are critical to our success. We are excited to be seeking applicants from a wide range of disciplines, including civil, electrical, environmental, mechanical, structural and building services, as well as design, planning, program and cost management fields.

As a graduate, you will have the chance to work alongside likeminded professionals and industry leaders on iconic projects that help shape and connect our cities and communities.
