About the role

Start your career in a fast growing and dynamic Engineering Consultancy. This opportunity is based in the heart of the CBD and is a hands-on two-year Graduate program. 

You will work closely with your team, as well as collaborating with all our other disciplines which include building services engineering, sustainability, ICT, acoustics, audio visual, security, vertical transportation, and specialist lighting.  

As a successful graduate engineer, you will work on design engineering solutions, project management and client management across our disciplines and sectors.

What you can expect

As a graduate you are passionate about both engineering and people, as the role will be both external facing with clients and, internal facing with various teams and stakeholders across the business. 

Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will assist in providing specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail and critical systems (data centres), and many more.

Under the guidance of our team of experienced engineers, we’ll equip you to undertake detailed building services engineering design and analysis, define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings.

You’ll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

You will work closely with your team lead and have access to our directors and leadership team who are hands on in the day-to-day business and willing to support, guide and mentor you as needed.

Experience

  • Hold a recognised engineering qualification or be working towards this
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience or familiarity with Revit, Camel, Microsoft Office, IES, Bluebeam
  • Prior working experience will be beneficial but not essential 
  • Experience taking part in a Volunteering program/Outreach community program beneficial
