About the Team

Our Design Hub, based in North Sydney, plays an integral part in the overall design and delivery of projects across Australia, in multiple sectors.  Focusing on the development of safe, considered, and innovative solutions, we provide the best designs across a variety of industries to produce the highest standard to meet and exceed, the expectations of our clients.

Our team pride itself on working seamlessly with all project stakeholders, ensuring no solution is developed in isolation and without consideration of the potential implications on other areas of the project.

About the Role

ADG currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Design Technician who is an entry-level Drafter, to join our design team in North Sydney. You will work across a wide range of projects both locally and interstate.

Being mentored and developed within a highly experienced team, you will have an interest in growing your career in the Structural Temporary Works Design space.  As you grow in the role, you will be responsible for the production of quality detail drawings, primarily working with REVIT, and ensuring that documentation is delivered on time and in line with the ADG standards and QA procedures.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to adhere to production schedules
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team
  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail

The following skills would be beneficial but not essential as there will be on the job learning and the successful applicant would be required to attend TAFE to study a relevant civil design course

  • Currently completing, or recently completed, a qualification (i.e. Diploma, Cert IV) in Civil Design (or similar)
  • Have a basic understanding of REVIT
  • Have a basic understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Codes.
