About the Business and the Role

Active Care Physiotherapy & Sports Therapy are a team of 4 Physiotherapists and Sports Physiotherapists.

Job-Share Part Time Position

• Part time approx. 25 hours/week
• Flexibility to cover Sick Leave, Holidays within the team & Saturdays

• Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Drive our team of committed practitioners to help them provide the best service to their patients.

This stimulating and dynamic role involves not only traditional reception work, but also a practical and hands on organisational component, to ensure the smooth and effective running of the clinic.

Duties include:

• Welcoming patients
• Answering general phone calls and email enquiries
• Scheduling client appointments
• Processing payments and invoicing
• Dealing with a wide range of patients including Workcover, DVA and Medicare
• Word processing of audio documents
• Working with software helpdesk to problem solve IT issues using Sound IT skills and knowledge
• Co-ordinating appointments for patients with external specialists and imaging
• Keeping Physiotherapists aware and on task with administrative responsibilities
• Organising exercise classes
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of all office areas
• Stocktake and liaising with suppliers
• Marketing email, newsletter mail-outs and website updates

Skills and Experience

Prior experience in a similar role within the medical industry would be highly regarded.
