ACH Group have multiple casual shifts available for flexible Support Workers across all regions in Adelaide.

Be rewarded through working autonomously in this busy and exciting role. You will provide support to older people so they can remain independent and continue living in their own home.

What you'll do:

  • Support the older person to maintain and/or improve physical, cognitive, emotional and social health and enhance their wellbeing
  • Undertake activities of daily living, domestic tasks and activity support
  • Follow and contribute to the customer's care plan
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to support the wellbeing of customers
  • Maintain and ensure completion of all documentation, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Assist the customers to live a good life

About You!

You are a talented and passionate Support Worker. You want to make the most of your expertise, do what you do best and thrive on the challenge of providing our customers with quality care. Ideally you will have experience within the Health Care Sector.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • A passion for supporting choice and independence
  • High level customer service experience
  • Available Monday to Friday 
  • Ability to work short shifts
  • Willingness to travel between customers' homes and attend site base training
  • Administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to operate a smart phone
  • Share the ACH Group culture and values

You will need

  • To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
  • Flu & COVID-19 vaccinations (including booster, if eligible)

Successful applicants will require a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check.
