Job Description

An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Payroll /Accounts Officer to join our team. In this newly created role your responsibilities will include administering the payroll and accounts needs of many of our business services clients. On a day to day basis you will:

  • Process various sized payrolls from end to end, across a range of different clients within different industries
  • Update and maintain payroll and accounts records
  • Lodge superannuation and tax
  • Complete employment variations and requests such as new hires and terminations
  • Completed AP and AR tasks for clients
  • Liaise with clients and internal client managers re payroll and accounts queries; and
  • Complete other ad hoc bookkeeping tasks and more!

The ideal candidate will have some payroll and bookkeeping experience or may have recently completed a Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping and be seeking a role in the field!  Training and mentoring will be provided.

About You:

To be successful within this role you will have:

  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Knowledge of software platforms such as MYOB, Xero or Quickbooks;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels;
  • Confident manner and the ability to work autonomously; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
